Ian & Philippa Porritt are absolutely thrilled to embrace life as the proud owners of Eviedale Cottages, Bakehouse & Bistro! Since taking over in 2017, they are overjoyed to kick off their ninth year as new islanders in beautiful Orkney.

Having moved from Perth, Scotland with their dogs and three wonderful daughters (when they get the chance to visit), they’re loving their Orkney home and the warm welcome from the community.

Eviedale is the first wood-fired pizzeria in Orkney, and the response has been incredible—keeping them happily busy!              Currently, they offer sit-in service on Friday and Saturday evenings, with plans to extend hours soon.

With a cozy restaurant that fills up quickly, be sure to book ahead! Plus, their on-site sourdough bakery produces a delightful array of sourdough bread, croissants, and pastries—just reach out to see when they’re baking.

Located in the charming village of Ev on Orkney's West Mainland, they can’t wait to welcome visitors, both new and familiar, along with locals from the village and beyond!
